LITO 2026
Abstract guidelines
- Please prepare your abstract using the LITO2026 abstract template. Please do not change the font, font sizes, or other formatting such as the page dimensions.
- Carefully check the content before submission, as the abstracts will be compiled into an abstract volume without any editing.
- Your abstract should include a title, list of author(s), author affiliation(s), the abstract text, and references (if applicable).
- The abstract should be written in clear, concise English.
- The title should not exceed 180 characters including spaces.
- The abstract text should not exceed 3000 characters including spaces (and including references). Tables or Figures cannot be included.
- References should be formatted following the recommendations for the Bulletin of the Geological Society of Finland.
- Only one presenting author is allowed. Presenting authors may request at most one oral presentation, or two oral presentations if one presentation is an invited presentation. A maximum of two additional poster presentations is allowed.
- Abstracts should be submitted via email (see below for details). Name the file clearly according to the presenting author, the meeting name, and a one-word identifier. For example, "AuthorA_LITO2026_dynamics.docx".
Please submit your abstract(s) to Lito-2026@oulu.fi by 23:59 Eastern European summer time on October 9th, 2026. The submitted abstracts will be available online before the meeting. Abstract volumes of the previous Lithosphere symposia can be found here.
