48th Nordic Seismology Seminar 12.6. - 13.6.2017

The seminar is organized by the Institute of Seismology, University of Helsinki, and it will be arranged on Kumpula Science Campus in Helsinki, Finland.

Poster and oral presentations will be welcome. The seminar is arranged back-to-back with the 2nd Nordic EPOS meeting and, therefore, we kindly request that EPOS related presentations are moved to the EPOS meeting starting on 14th of June.

Topics

Nordic Seismology seminar has traditionally covered topics related to seismological research done in Nordic countries, Northwestern Russia and the Baltic states. These topics include detection seismology, seismic networks, earthquake catalogs & historical seismicity, structural studies of the crust and upper mantle, new methods in data-analysis and more.
